Lágrima de Malvasía is the label of Producciones Arráez Bravo, a winery and olive-oil mill based in an industrial unit in Arrecife, in the Los Mármoles area. Its main focus is Malvasía Volcánica, which it uses for still wines and vinegars; it also works with Listán Negro and Listán for reds and rosés. The range includes a barrel-aged white, a semi-sweet white, a rosé, a Listán Negro, a Listán, young, barrel-aged and balsamic vinegars, and extra virgin olive oil. The producer says it was the first to make a vinegar entirely from Malvasía Volcánica. Grapes come from Canarian growers working volcanic soils; the winery selects them and vinifies with maceration and fermentation. Four 2023 wines are listed in the Guía Peñín, and at Virtus 2025 in Lisbon the brand won two Grand Golds and two Golds. It is a useful stop for wine travellers who want to see the versatile side of Malvasía, but it is not a scenic estate: it sits in Arrecife, and public information does not detail visits or tastings, so check before going.
