Bodega Titerok-Akaet is a Lanzarote wine project built around small parcels and varieties such as Malvasía Volcánica, Listán Blanco, Diego and Listán Negro. Grapes are picked by hand into 15 kg crates and kept cold before manual destemming. In the cellar the team favours spontaneous fermentation, controlled temperatures, low intervention and minimal sulphite use; some wines have no added sulphites. There is also organic vineyard work. The range is deliberately varied: Malvasía whites aged in spherical Clayver ceramic vessels, a Listán Blanco from the Volcán de La Corona area aged five months on lees in glass demijohns and bottled unfiltered, Listán Negro reds made with carbonic maceration or lees ageing, a clarete from Listán Negro and Listán Blanco, and a rosado from Listán Negro. Some sites are old: Barranco del Obispo has vines over 200 years old. Several cuvées are tiny, including Finca Guatisea and Repasso. For a wine traveller, this is a producer worth seeking out to understand volcanic viticulture and taste parcel-driven wines with minimal handling. It is best to contact them beforehand to check whether visits and tastings are available and how to try the wines.
